T.H.Vikku Vinayakram
T.H.Vikku Vinayakram (born in 1942) is one of the most honored artistes of Indian classical music today. He is also the principal of music school "Sri Jaya Ganesh Thalavadya Vidyalaya"(Chennai, india). THV and the Tabla maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain are first Grammy Awardees of Indian Percussionists. He has received numerous awards including Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship in 2012
and Padma Bhushan in 2014.

Vinayakram School of
South Indian Percussion
(VSSP Tokyo)
Foundered by THV on 2016, during his Japan tour.
VSSP Tokyo follows text and curriculum of "Sri Jaya Ganesh Thalavadya Vidyalaya", examination and certificating give by THV himself.
Japanese instructor Koichi Takehara is a student of THV since 2003. He is also a student of "Sri Jaya Ganesh Thalavadya Vidyalaya".INSTRUMENTS
Mridangam
Traditional doublehead drum of South India. Mahabharata and Ramayana say about Mridangam. Instrument of load Nandikeswar.

Physical classes / Online classes
for Kids(aged 5 and up) and Adults, any gender and nationality are welcome
Face to face classes or online classes.
Also possible to make group classes depending on required.
Fees
(once per week) 10,000yen / per month
(unscheduled) 3,000yen / 1hr. or 4,000yen / 2hrs.To be disscused for group classes and work shop.

INSTRUCTOR
Koichi Takehara
He is learning south Indian percussions under THV since 2003. He finished the course of Morsing with the grade "Excellent" at THV's school "Sri Jaya Ghanesh Tala Vadya Vidyalaya"(Chennai). Since 2016, he is running VSSP Tokyo.
He is also active in performing Mridangam and Morsing in Japan.
